Project: Toyota Scalable Development

The Toyota Way
The Team at CM-W Consulting was honored to be asked to bid on the Toyota Request for Proposal (RFP), as a Tier 2 Supplier with Computech Corp. We had experienced how effective the partnership could be by partnering on a prior project. Thus, it appeared that this opportunity would be mutually beneficial for us and TEMA. The TEMA North America team are constantly assessing their processes and how to continue to be a leader in their industry. Thier JKK (Ji-Kotei-Kanketsu) business improvement process is world renown and was highlighted in the book, The Toyota Way: 14 Management Principles from the World's Greatest. Thus, the partnership seemed a great fit as CM-W is a certified Program Management (PMP), Six Sigma and Lean Awareness organization. That combined with Computech's Software Development Life-Cycle experience made for the perfect partnership.
CM-W Consulting's role was simply to create a Scalable Development Team by achieving the following: 1). An assessment of the Initiative Goals & Objectives 2) Development of an Execution Roadmap for the collaborative effort 3). Implementation of a sustainable platform to handoff to operations once the project concluded. Our engagement lasts 2.5 years, and we still offer support as required.
