Communities Learning & Building Together

Community Learning Exchanges

In recent years, the team at CM-W consulting has partnered with our clients and business partners to transform how we conduct business in the industries that we serve. The identifiable gap is that we can’t fully transform our industries if we fail to transform the communities we serve. Thus, in 2018, we have agreed to leverage our internal capacity, partnerships and knowledge base to offer free classes targeted at improving computer literacy and how we think.

Computer Literacy: Leveraging Technology to Stay Informed

Learning how to maneuver the keyboard, utilize the internet and master various technological tools facilitates our ability to stay connected and informed on the issues that impact our community. CM-W will host 1 STEM-related class/month in order strengthen our ability to connect across generations. We are vetting capacity and support to offer several classes on the same day targeted at various levels of mastery.

Metacognition: Understanding How We Process the World

The importance of Critical thinking has become a lost art in our schools and communities. The ability to reflect and process the information around us is key to developing sustainable solutions to move our communities forward. Through awareness of one’s own thought processes, we enhance our ability to participate in community problem solving sessions. Thus, the team CM-W, Consulting will host a monthly metacognition course for students struggling with understanding how they think and process information.
